YAY~ --------------------------------------------------------------   Get Sorted By The Hogwarts Sorting Hat! 12/05/2009 03:58:00 AMThursday, December 3, 2009I just watched the twilight saga: new moon about a few hours ago with candice! we were the first people in the cinema to catch the first screening on the first day of the showing of new moon at plaza singapura... :)and to tell you the truth, IT WAS AWESOME... now, you might be thinking 'oh! your a girl! you just like it cause it some romance chick flick' HELL NO I shall give my review and btw, this movie was more comedy than romance. seriously, everyone was laughing half the time... P.S. SPOILER ALERT overall, like i said the movie was great. It had flaws but still you could tell that it was awesome. The minute i saw the title 'new moon' on the screen, i knew it was going to be awesome... ok i shall say about their individual acting. Kristen Stewart (bella) : MUCH BETTER! thank heavens! but she stills so awkward around edward, i mean, they look more like awkward friends who are confessing their love but dont want to get on with their relationship.... But her with jacob is a much different story, together they were just awesome. Jacob is AWESOME but i shall go into that afterwards... overall she was much better in new moon than she was in twilight... Robert Pattinson (edward) : I ABSOLUTELY hate to admit it, but he did a good job. I still dont think he is a very good edward. For some reason, he just seems to do better in other films than in the twilight saga... But, for the time he was in new moon, he was good. However, i find that he had TOO much screen time. I dont know if they did this just to impress all those crazy girls who are after him but...it would have been better if he didnt appear so much cause it seemed like he was there all the time, which ruined the impact of him leaving... Taylor Lautner (jacob) : HE WAS AWESOME! He was the best actor in the ENTIRE MOVIE. The way he was before the transformation was wonderful...and the way he acted angry. I was literally scared... He did a GREAT job at jacob, thanks heavens they didnt replace him! The way he begged bella to stay was wonderful! when bella said no i wanted to kill her! The wolf pack : overall, they were really good. Their brotherly bond were awesome. The scence they were in, it was fantastic. The special effects for the wolves were great... Sam was wonderful, i could sense his protectiveness. quill and ember (is it?) were really good, they really made me think that the pack was some big brotherly bond. PAUL WAS AMAZING! I could tell when he got angry, i could feel the anger building up so that was great! The cullens : they were overall okay... no wait, i take that back! Jackson ranthbothe (is that how you spell it?) WAS GREAT PLAYING JASPER. he is seriously my favourite cullen. He had 3 lines in the film, and the 3 lines were said wonderfully! I remeber clearly that the lines he said and when he said it everyone laughed! Hilarious! carlisle was great but the thing was that during his and bella's scence, there was a tension that shouldnt be there...so thats rather sad... Emmett was great, he really potrayed his character well. rosalie... was okay i guess, i dont really have an opinion on her. alice was... well, alice, so yeah... esme was very mortherly so that okay... overall, they were average except Jasper he was awesome! the volturi : aro was awesome! he was exactly what i thought aro was, and so were the others. dakota fanning as jane, i dont get why they are so into her... she barely did anything.... -.- The scenes i liked I loved the scene where Charlie came in and told her that she has a grey hair and she jumped up and looked, and then he was actually joking... THAT WAS HILARIOUS! The part where Jacob and paul were fighting, THAT WAS GREAT wonderful BRILLANT The part where jacob and bella and alice was in her house was awesome... especially when jacob picks up the phone and tells edward that her father was at a funeral and when edward crushes the phone, like literally CRUSHES the phone, THAT WAS AMAZING like i said earlier I LOVED IT WHEN JACOB BEGGED BELLA i was so pissed at bella i mean, come on! another thing, when bella got in the middle of edward and jacob, to stop them from fighting, when you could see a slight tear from jacob, THAT WAS FANTASTIC.... and the part where alice shows up with jasper gives her present and bella was like 'hey, jasper! no fair with the mood control thing' and he was laughing and apologizing. then edward was like 'you can't trust vampires... trust me' THAT WAS GREAT! why? even though robert pattinson said it, it was contradictory and i love it! also that everythime jacob and bella almost kiss they get interrupted. thats rather sad, but i love jacob's reaction! THE VOLTURI FIGHT WAS AWESOME! SO BLOODY AWESOME, also when one of them were bringing in a group of people and felix was leading them out and the vampire was like 'they smells deliscious' and felix was like 'save some for me' and when that happened after about 20 secs you start hearing people scream... that was so scary it was awesome... the breakup scene was wonderfull... i SO didnt expect that... also the scene where she meets Laurent and the wolves IT WAS VERY INCREDIBLE! it was so... amazing! like Laurent was wonderful and when the wolves enter, it was even better oh! and the thing i loved most! THE ENDING! It ended with edward telling bella that if she wanted him to personally change her she had to follow a condition... and she said 'whats the condition?' and he smiles and say 'marry me' there was a split-second change and then it shows bella gaping and then it ended The first thing i thought 'what?!' and then the entire theartre, together with me, started laughing... WONDERFUL! i love it that they made this movie funnier... great job! the scenes i hated The parts were it was suppose to be quick DRAGGED LIKE HELL and the parts that were cool, WERE OVER SO QUICKLY and the romance parts, where edward and bella were kissing, was horrible. i mean, wth?! they were moaning and looked very into it but they werent even kissing. their lips were just touching! another part, was when bella threw a slice of pizza and it switches and shows that jacob catches a wrench... that utterly confused me... and WHO THROWS PIZZA?!!? haix... another part was the part where they reunites was horrible... urghhh another thing, after the breakup scene where bella looks for edward... OMG! it was terrible when they were spinning the camera i was so freaking dizzy! and when edward speaks... oh gosh, i can't hear what his saying...its like his trying to speak SUPER slowly to pronounce better, but he is mumbling.... -.- they should really really work on the romance, overall it suxs... bella doesnt seem to love anyone. Edward seems more like a body guard then a protective boyfriend... the only person who actually shows that he like someone is JACOB! he actually shows he like bella... whereas those 2 idiots look like they cant love... --------------------------------------------------------------- so overall, it was great. chris weitz did a great job with this! i am definitely excited for eclipse! However, for those for read the books, this movie is awesome! for those who didnt, this movie is too draggy.... -.- you might be asking why im doing this, its cause basically this movie was my whole day :)  TEAM JACOB!
